由 Angelo Baque 主导的纽约街头品牌 AWAKE NY 先前便率先曝光过与 ASICS 合作的最新鞋款，此回则是正式迎来了双方联名系列的完整型录及发售日期。
本次的 AWAKE NY x ASICS 联名系列品项包含鞋款以及服饰，其中联名鞋款特别受到注目。选以 GEL-KAYANO 5 360 型号为基底，推出了银、薄荷绿以及黑、金两种配色，并在鞋带系统与 ASICS Logo 处加入了 3M 反光材质。鞋款设计灵感皆来自 AWAKE NY 主理人 Baque 本身的经历，银/薄荷绿款式以位于纽约皇后区的 Flushing Meadows Corona 公园里的绿地以及大型钢球为设计启发；黑/金款式则是将巴黎夜晚的路灯灯光氛围移植到鞋子上。
